Malapascua: Mantas & Sharks

Malapascua & Ticao Pass

(7 days / 6 nights)

A thrilling voyage taking you to the 'manta ray capital' of the Philippines

Our Visayas-Bicol itinerary is shaped by currents, tides, and rare marine life. If departing from Malapascua, the voyage heads south toward the Ticao Pass — one of the Philippines’ most dynamic marine corridors — or you can take the voyage in reverse to depart from Donsol, heading north to finish your 7-day trip in Malapascua.

This itinerary combines great diving and amazing underwater wildlife, with evenings of calm and relaxation. A pelagic highway, Ticao Pass features the famous 'Manta Bowl' but is also one of the few diving destinations where it's possible to encounter mantas and whale sharks together in the same dive! The excitement of the day is replaced with the signature calm of Philippines Explorer TWO in the evening: sheltered anchorages, relaxed dinners, and uninterrupted rest.

Maximum 3 dives per day, often 2 dives only, leaving more time to explore and relax.

Ideal for:

Divers & non-divers, families and small groups of friends. While the diving activities are a favourite for confident divers on this itinerary, the Visayas-Bicol itinerary on board Philippines Explorer 2 is perfect for divers and non-divers alike. It delivers everything — a trip that feels exciting but never rushed.
